Atrazeneca award for Thomas Voets

Thomas Voets and his research on how our bodies detect changes in temperature and pain stimuli has been awarded a 50K price by AstraZeneca and the Royal Flemish Academy of Science and Arts. He received the award at the official ceremony on May 19th 2022.

Between April 4th and 8th, we welcomed delegates from overall Europe on a Workshop on Ion Channels, organized in the framework BioInspire Sensing, a Marie Skłodowska-Curie training network in which our lab participates, and is aimed at researchers with limited background in the different aspects of ion channel research/electrophysiology.
